Our story
A region that shapes its own AI destiny
Founded in 2024 by regional AI leader Adrian Dunkley, the Caribbean AI Association was born from a conviction: the Caribbean must not merely receive AI — it must build, govern, and lead it.
From Kingston to Port of Spain, from Bridgetown to Nassau, CAIA is the home for every voice that believes this region's future is something we build together.
We are not bystanders to the AI revolution. We are its architects.
New initiative
One AI ambassador in every Caribbean high school
One student per school runs the AI club, sits on a committee with every other ambassador in their country, and votes for who speaks for them regionally. It builds to the Caribbean AI Youth Forum in late 2027. Free to apply, free to nominate.
